[相撲力士紋様] 京都 千總友仙工場 共同制作 。

浮世絵の中でも、役者絵、美人画と並んで人気のあった「相撲絵」の図案になります。

十八世紀末から十九世紀初頭に現れた人気絵師たちの多くは、美人画か役者絵を専門にし、同時に相撲絵も描きました。

力強い力士と廻しの美しいデザインなど、日本の美が散りばめられたユニークな図案が完成致しました。

今季発表NIPOALOHAオリジナルのシルクキュプラ着物地は、日本伝統の紋様「地紋 松皮菱 花菱」のジャガード織り柄入り。高級感漂うハリコシのある生地は、優しい光沢を放ち、光に当たると、織柄が浮かび上がります。

京都の着物文化によって育まれてきた美意識や技術を背景に デザインからテキスタイル・服飾雑貨の製作まで 幅広い分野のものづくりを提案している「千總友仙工場」により染色。

身頃はボックスタイプのトラディショナルなデザイン。アームホール、カフス付け位置にギャザーを入れることにより、ドレッシーであり、リラックスできるデザイン。

Produced in collaboration with Chiso Yuzen Factory, Kyoto.

This is a design for sumo pictures, which were as popular as yakusha-e (portraits of actors) and bijinga (portraits of beautiful women) among ukiyo-e prints.

Most of the popular ukiyo-e artists who emerged from the late 18th to early 19th century specialized in portraying beautiful women and actors, but they also painted sumo pictures at the same time.

The unique designs of the powerful wrestlers and the beautiful design of the mawashi (belt) are scattered with the beauty of Japan.

This season's NIPOALOHA original silk-cupra kimono fabric has a jacquard weave pattern of the traditional Japanese pattern "Jimon: pine bark and diamonds, Hanabishi: flower water chestnuts". The luxurious and firm fabric has a gentle luster, and the woven pattern comes to life when exposed to light.

TECHNIQUE: 
Dyed by Chiso Yusen Factory, which offers a wide range of manufacturing services from design to textile and accessories production, backed by the aesthetic sense and techniques nurtured by Kyoto's kimono culture.

The traditional straight body silhouette Hawaiian shirt, long sleeves dress shirt gathered on the armholes and cuffs.

Designed to be both dressy and relaxed.
