[百虎] NIPOALOHA オリジナル。
1950年代に生まれたこの図案は、全身に虎が配されたその迫力のデザインから通称《百虎》と呼ばれ、数ある和柄のVINTAGE ALOHA SHIRTの中でも最高傑作のひとつとされています。
そしてNIPOALOHA オリジナルの [百虎]として、新しく描き起こした百虎は、VINTAGEの猛々しさそのままに、
顔の表情、抜け感のある配置、配色にこだわり、スタイリッシュに着用できる百虎を目指しました。
NIPOALOHAオリジナルのシルクキュプラ着物地は、日本伝統の紋様「地紋 松皮菱 花菱」のジャガード織り柄入り。高級感漂うハリコシのある生地は、優しい光沢を放ち、光に当たると、織柄が浮かび上がります。
栃木県足利で 明治時代から100年以上続く島浪捺染により染色。
タックを深く取ったショートパンツ。深く取ったタックとテーパードのおかげで、ゆったりとした着心地なのに大きく見えすぎない。素材感もあいまり、気持ちの良さは抜群。

NIPOALOHA's original design.
This design, created in the 1950s, is commonly known as “Hyakutora” (one hundred tigers) because of its powerful design with tigers all over the body, and is considered one of the best among the many Japanese pattern VINTAGE ALOHA SHIRTs.
The newly drawn “Hyakutora” is a NIPOALOHA original with the same ferociousness of the VINTAGE design,
We have focused on the expression of the face, the placement with a sense of omission, and the color scheme, and aimed to create a Hyakutora that can be worn stylishly.
NIPOALOHA original silk-cupra kimono fabric has a jacquard weave pattern of the traditional Japanese pattern "Jimon: pine bark and diamonds, Hanabishi: flower water chestnuts". The luxurious and firm fabric has a gentle luster, and the woven pattern comes to life when exposed to light.
TECHNIQUE:
This is hand-dyed by the artisans of Shimanami dyeing factory. The workshop has been around for over 100 years, from the Meiji Period.
Tapered wide tucked short pants are loosely fitted. Among the soft texture, the comfortableness is exquisite.
